How many people out there are looking to invest their money in the stock market right now? The odds are that if you are an everyday Joe that used to do a good bit of independent stock trading in the last few years that you are not doing much of anything in the last few months to a year now. Confidence in the stock market continues to be at all time lows with peoples pessimism about stock at all time highs.
There are of course those investors that see the glass as half full right now and see these times as some of the best for putting their money on some big name top quality stocks at bargain basement prices. Prices that were across the board about 40% higher as compared to just a year ago. Good stocks that have gone down for no other reason than there are just no investors putting their money into the stock market right now. Seems like everyone is trying to stay liquid and safe with enough reserve in their accounts to ride out the storm.
If you look at the Warren Buffets and Motley Fools of the investment world they are all telling us that now is the time to jump back to the investment pool. Even better than that they are investing in stocks again big time. Now granted most of these people already have lots of money in their reserves to begin with so that makes it a little bit easier for them to get right back into it. Not so easy for the rest of us in middle America where most if not all of our extra funds and savings accounts were wiped out in the past year.
I would love to get back into investment game unfortunately I like most other people have been left short in terms of extra funds to play with in the stock market. Should have moved our money over to stocks like McDonald’s, Netflix and alcohols! When all else is going down the drain we still manage to buy cheap meals cheap movies and cheap drinks to drown our sorrows.
